OVERVIEW

Research shows that high quality and effective early childhood education programs have significant long-term benefits on children, families, and communities. The Abecedarian Project a study conducted by the Frank Porter Graham Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill states that “Children in quality preschool programs are less likely to repeat grades, need special education, or get into future trouble with the law as juveniles
​and adults.” 

As a shared services organization in early learning we understand that the landscape of educating and caring for children continues to change. Therefore having an organization as an advocate on the local level with the ability to lobby at the state level is vitally important. Our objective at TELC is to provide the shared assistance of educators, business professionals, childcare providers and community partners to help ensure our partners can successfully navigate the educational requirements and business needs for operating an excellent early learning center. We do that by centralizing traditional back-office functions such as accounting, human resources, staffing, professional development, grant acquisition/management, and compliance where they can be handled by a team of professionals instead of just one person thereby reducing the overall cost of hiring an entire back office.
